Eligibility Criteria for NIEPMD Consultants Posts
1. Educational Qualifications
- Assistant Professor (Special Education): A Master’s Degree in Special Education and M.Ed in Special Education with registration from RCI.
- Lecturer (Occupational Therapy): A Master’s in Occupational Therapy.
- Prosthetist & Orthotist: A Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics with registration with RCI.
- Clinical Assistant (Speech Therapist): B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) equivalent qualification, with RCI registration.
- Clerk/Typist: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification with typing speed of 35 wpm.
- Rehabilitation Officer: Post Graduate Degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology from a recognized university.
- Clinical Assistant (Developmental Therapist): PG Diploma in Early Intervention (PGDEI) or equivalent, or B.Ed Special Education with relevant experience.
- Accountant: Commerce graduate with experience in handling accounts and knowledge of Tally.
2. Experience Required
The experience for these roles varies from 2 years to 5 years, depending on the position. Relevant experience in teaching, clinical support, and administrative roles is crucial for eligibility.
