Job Overview
The Lab Admin Assistant will support the operations of the Utah San Rafael Energy Lab by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical services. This individual will manage grant applications, coordinate schedules, facilitate meetings, and support lab projects. The role requires someone detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative and clerical assistance to lab staff and directors.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate projects, activities, and meetings.
- Manage executive calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Grant Management:
- Coordinate grant application paperwork and ensure all documentation is accurate.
- Track progress and compliance of grant-related tasks.
- Committee and Board Support:
- Facilitate and coordinate meetings, including arranging speakers and equipment.
- Act as a liaison between various agencies, organizations, and committees.
- Document Management:
- Review incoming correspondence and initiate replies when appropriate.
- Maintain files and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard business practices.
- Strong typing and file management skills.
